Galaxy Note III

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is now official and headed to around 140 countries later this month, as announced by the company. We have first bit of indication of pricing, with telecom carriers in the US starting the pre-order process.
AT&T has started taking pre-orders for the Galaxy Note 3 for $299.99 with a new two-year contract. The telecom operator says that the device will ship around October 1 and also that the Galaxy Gear, Samsung's smartwatch, will be available in the "coming weeks". AT&T's contract pricing of the Galaxy Note 3 translates into an off-contract pricing of approximately $700 (Rs. 46,000 approximately) , Engadget notes.
Samsung officially launched the Galaxy Note 3 phablet at the sidelines of IFA 2013 in Berlin on Wednesday. It comes with a 5.7-inch full-HD Super AMOLED display, but weighing at 168g and 8.33m wide, is both lighter and slimmer than the Samsung Galaxy Note II. Just like the Samsung Galaxy S4, the Galaxy Note 3 will come in two variants. The LTE variant will be powered by 2.3GHz quad-core processor and the 3G version will be powered by a 1.9GHz octa-core processor.
It includes 3GB RAM and sports a 13-megapixel rear camera alongside 2-megapixel front camera. It is powered by 3,200mAh battery and runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. The Galaxy Note 3 will be available in 32GB and 64GB variants. Both variants come with support for up to 64GB of additional external storage.
Connectivity options on the Note 3 include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS/ GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth v4.0 (LE), IR, and MHL 2.0. It comes with various sensors like Gesture, Accelerometer, Geo-magnetic, Gyroscope, Proximity, Barometer, Temperature & Humidity, and Hall Sensor.
The company also announced a number of added features like the My Magazine, Scrapbook, Wake-up Command, S Finder, Advanced Multi Window, Samsung Smart Switch and Action

Micromax Canvas 4 review

The front of the phone is dominated by the 5-inch display, below which you'll find the three capacitive touch keys for Menu, Home and Back. A chrome grill that serves as the earpiece, the sensor array and the 5-megapixel front camera are placed above the display. The bezel is wide but it's not flat as it meets and the edges and there's some embossing, similar to the Galaxy SIII.

The phone is surrounded by an aluminium frame in the middle, which gives it a premium look and makes it feel sturdy. The company says that it also acts as the cellular antenna. You will also notice that the frame has small white bands at the left side, at the bottom and at the top.
The Power/ Screen-lock key is located at the right side of the phone, while the Volume rocker key is place at the left side. Both these keys are also made of metal but are a bit rickety as they are not firmly fixed. When you shake the phone, you'll also hear some sound coming from the same area due to their movement. The Micro-USB port is located at the bottom. The 3.5mm headset jack sits at the top of the phone.
While everyone was hoping that the Canvas 4 would come with a full-HD display, Micromax has decided to skip the upgrade and has included a 720p display, similar to that of the Canvas HD. The phone's 5-inch HD IPS screen sports a resolution of 720x1280 pixels and a colour depth of 16.7 million. Thanks to the higher resolution, text, icons and images look much sharper compared to qHD phones. There was no pixelation. However, we felt that the screen's colour temperature was skewed towards the colder side, with whites carrying a blue.
The Micromax Canvas 4 runs Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean, the latest iteration of the OS. Micromax has skinned some elements of the user interface, such as the app icons and the Settings menu.
micromax-canvas-4-with-box.jpg

The phone also offers four themes, namely Mint, Mocha, Raspberry and the default theme that bring minor changes in the phone's colour scheme.
Micromax has also bundled a new Video Player app with the phone that offers features like 'Pause on look away' using the front camera to detect if you're looking at the screen of the phone, and automatically pausing and resuming videos. We've seen this feature in high-end phones like the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the LG Optimus G Pro. You can increase and decrease the volume or brightness while playing a video by just swiping up and down the screen at the left and right hand sides. It also allows you to preview one video while playing another one, and view videos on a floating player window while doing other tasks through its pop-out feature.

The Music player has also been revamped and now features fancier controls in the Now Playing screen and integrates the Micromax Online music store. The Music Store is still a website wrapped into the app and allows you to download music tracks and videos. It only lets you download tracks when you access the site through 3G/ Edge as billing is integrated with the telecom operator. The Music Player app also features Equalizer settings.

nokia_lumia_625-big.jpg
When smartphones like the Nokia Lumia 925, Lumia 625 and the Lumia 1020 get listed on the company's website, an official launch becomes imminent (well mostly).A new report now claims that Nokia is likely to unveil the Nokia Lumia 625 in the second or third week of August.
The Times of India has reported that the Lumia 625 which sports the biggest display on a Lumia smartphone, might be unveiled later this month. The Lumia 925, Nokia's premium Windows Phone device is also expected to arrive at the same time. The report also adds that the Lumia 1020, Nokia's Windows Phone Pureview device, is expected to reach India in September or October.
All the three smartphones were listed on Nokia India's official website with a 'coming soon' label, some time back.
However, the report does not mention anything about the pricing of the Lumia 625 and the Lumia 925, It also does not mention a specific launch date for the phones.
Nokia announced the launch of the Lumia 625 that sports a 4.7-inch LCD screen, last month.
The other specifications of the Nokia Lumia 625 include a 1.2GHz dual-core processor alongside 512MB RAM and 8GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card. It comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front-facing shooter. The 4.7-inch screen sports a disappointing 480x800 pixel resolution. The device runs Windows Phone 8.
We had reported earlier that the Nokia Lumia 925 is now available for pre-orders at an online retailer for Rs. 33,999. However, the online retailer mentions the estimated release date of the device as the fourth week of August.

Samsung Galaxy S4

Price: $200 (AT&T), $150 (Sprint), $150 (T-Mobile)$200 (Verizon) w/ two-year contract
The most powerful phone ever built. The most feature-filled mobile of all time. Sammy’s next-gen Galaxy can lay claim to both titles. Powered by Qualcomm’s dominating 1.9GHz Snapdragon quad-core, the Galaxy S4 breezes through multimedia and multitasking duties with the device generating champion benchmarks that no Apple, HTC, or LG phone has yet to achieve thus far. You don’t have to revisit the commercials to know the GS4’s biggest selling point is its touch-free features like the Air Gesture and View options, though you’d be foolish to ignore some of the other notable specs like its vibrant 5-inch FHD Super Model display and Dual Camera mode. And with Jay-Z’s new Magna Carta Holy Grail album exclusively available for download to the first 1 million Galaxy users via app, all the more reason to use up that upgrade before the fourth of July.

HTC ONE

Price: $100 (w/ two-year contract, Sprint), $100 (w/ two-year contract, T-Mobile), $200 - $300 (w/ two-year contract, AT&T)
With over 5 million units sold, HTC’s flagship device is starting to catch on with mobilephiles. And why shouldn’t it? From the beautifully stunning aesthetics to its raw horsepower, the One is an all-around stunner. Dynamic software spearheaded by the latest Sense UI brings a more intuitive user experience with notable enhancements made to the new “UltraPixel” camera and the introduction of its new feed-inspired BlinkFeed feature. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 1.7GHz quad-core provides seamless and speedy multitasking, plus the new BoomSound front-facing speakers elevate portable audio to the next level by blasting impactful audio through the bottom grill.

Sony Vaio Pro 13

Price: $1,250
Less than a handful of ultrabook models can give the MacBook Air a run for its money and Sony’s latest build might be the closest of the select few. Sexy, slender, and powerful, the world’s lightest 13.3-inch touch laptop is a multimedia beast that delivers gorgeous visuals on a colorful full-HD panel and outputs rich sound from its hinge-located speakers. With Intel's new Haswell 4th Generation Core CPU at the helm, the Vaio Pro enforces stronger processing speeds and booting times than most premium Windows 8 laptops. The affordable price tag also works in its favor.

Apple iPod with Retina Display

Price: $230
Despite the lack of rear camera and memory capacity, Apple’s managed to improve its portable media player for the better by squeezing in a faster processor, enhanced FaceTime camera, and gorgeous 4-inch Retina Display into a lighter package. Apple also includes a pair of its signature EarPods headphones for good measure.

Apple Murphie

Price: $120
The reigning king of smartphone charging cases takes battery performance on the iPhone 5 to another level with the Juice Pack Plus. Supporting a 2100 mAh cell efficient enough to produce 120% extra vitality, Mophie’s new charger can generate up to 10 hours of LTE usage and nearly 50 hours of audio playback, securing Apple’s next-gen mobile in a stylishly durable jacket

LG Optimus G Pro

23. LG Optimus G Pro

Price: $200 (w/two-year contract)
“Phablets” are becoming the next best thing in the mobile conglomerate thanks to the prominent success of Samsung’s Galaxy Note series. Several other mobile manufacturers are jumping on the bandwagon, though LG seems to be the only frontrunner at the moment to possibly dethrone the Android king with its latest offering. The Optimus G Pro is massive in both size and performance, pushing higher benchmarks than the Galaxy Note II thanks to its insanely fast 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor. Videos look gorgeous on the 5.5-inch 1080p HD screen and 4G data speeds excel on AT&T’s network. Bigger is better

Apple ios 6 vs ios 7

As we see on the video, iOS 7 is layered, creating planes thanks to translucent displays. For example, when scrolling up on a list, you can see the faintest shadow of it as it moves behind the heading. The planes combine with new animations to provide "a sense of depth and vitality." Remember how rainy weather used to be represented on HTC's Sense with animation of raindrops hitting the screen? Apple has similar animation now, including a real nice one for a snowfall. Forget for a second about the features taken from other platforms. According to Apple, part of the goal in developing iOS 7 was to keep things familiar to iOS veterans, while creating a more useful OS with new features that can actually be helpful to users.

Most budget iphone coming soon.

5 Inch HD Screen, 1.2GHz Quad Core, 1GB RAM, 12MP Camera & Android 4.2

There were number of leaks about the Apple’s budget iPhone. Now purported high-res images and a video of the phone has surfaced again on a website techdy which got hold of the phone. According to the website the phone would a 4-inch display at a resolution of 1136 x 640 similar to the iPhone 5, instead of aluminium, the budget iPhone would have a plastic or polycarbonate build and would have a shape similar to Apple’s original iPod. It adds that the plastic chassis does not feel cheap in hands and feels more sturdy.

The phone’s shell that leaked earlier this month look exactly similar this and the phone’s internal components have metal build according to earlier rumors. There are just holes where the power and volume buttons, camera and the SIM card slot should be, which suggests that this might be a early prototype. The phone is rumored to come in blue, pink, yellow, green, and white.
